According to the CDC one in three people do not get sufficient sleep at night. This is 1/3 of the population, who are sleep deprived and dragging throughout the day. Sound familiar? It probably is. Nearly 70% of the population is sleep deprived at least once a month. To some, this is a nightly occurrence.
When dealing with self-care, sometimes we overlook the most basic and simplest of things. Getting adequate sleep is absolutely necessary for your health. By establishing a bedtime routine and making sure you get between 7 and 9 hours of sleep every night, you can drastically improve your sleep quality.
Having problems with insomnia? It might be time to talk to your doctor. There are solutions. Everyone deserves a good night’s sleep.
