When is the last time you had a day off? There's a lot to be said for a personal day. When you take time for yourself, you are underscoring the idea you’re important. You're telling yourself you are worth taking care of.
A personal health day though, is different from a personal day off. This is not time which is meant to be used in dentist appointments, errands, or another various duties which come up from time to time. This is a day meant to rejuvenate your mind and re-energize your body.
What should this look like? The answer varies from person to person. For you it might be a day at the beach or hiking outdoors in the mountains. To someone else, it might mean a day curled up on the couch with a good book, or binge watching a favorite series on TV. the point here is to do what makes you feel better.
